The angels came to take Barbara Ann Michaelis Lohman home, freeing her body from a year of suffering.  She is finally able to dance again with her husband, Harold, walk the beaches of heaven and listen to the music she loved. Barbara will be missed terribly by her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Barbara A. Michaelis Lohman, age 85, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017.  She was born on August 16, 1931 to the late Victor and Elizabeth (Feltman) Michaelis.  Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Harold J. Lohman who preceded her in death in 2000.  Survivors include her children, Maureen Weingardt (Bruce), Karl Lohman (Karen) and Vincent Lohman (Laura); sisters, Rosemarie Pittman, Helen Dickman and Kathy Kallaus; granddaughters, Nikki Lohman and Savanna Gordin; and great-grandson, Joey.  Family and friends will gather on Monday, June 12, from 4 to 8 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with prayers being said prior to mass in the funeral home at 1:30 p.m.  Entombment will follow Mass in Calvary Cemetery.  Memorial contributions have been suggested to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or St. Francis Hospice.  Online condolences:  www.LauckFuneralHome.com.
