Robert “Bob” Henderson, 55, of Indianapolis passed away on Wednesday, February 8th, 2017 at his home. He was born on October 17, 1961 to the late Leonard Henderson and Betty Spoonamore. He provided for his family by working for the Marion County Sheriff’s department as a correctional officer. After his retirement from the Sheriff’s department Bob worked for Navistar as a machinist. After Navistar he worked as a truck driver and was able to explore the country. Bob was a rugged outdoorsman (hunting and fishing) and enjoyed country music. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth “Liz” Henderson; his two sons, Will Henderson of Indianapolis, Stephen Henderson (Becky) of Noblesville; his two daughters, Farrah Rosenkoetter (Daniel) of Greenwood, Ashley Slinker (Matthew) of Indianapolis; his two siblings, Cheryl Peters and William “Bill” Henderson both of Indianapolis. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, along with numerous extended family and close friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 4PM in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services (1458 S.
