Love and Peace to all of Doug's family and for providing Doug's obit to Augie so that family in South Dakota and Iowa can share their thoughts and prayers.

Dear Kristin, Andy, and Toph,
I'm so very sorry to read that you lost your father. Please accept my sincerest sympathy. Your dad certainly had a number of notable accomplishments and honors. You must be very proud of him. I hope the care and concern of others is a comfort to you. I hope you and your families are all well. I wish you all peace. My regards to your mother and to your families.
With deepest condolences.
Herr (Richard) Moore

Thank you so much for your sympathies, Herr Moore. We are very sad at the passing of our dad, but we're grateful that he's at peace. We are indeed so proud of all he accomplished; I regret we didn't get to spend more time on this Earth with him. Our families are very well, thank you, and not infrequently do we exclaim "Das Telefon klingelt! Geh doch mal ran, bitte!" and think of you and all that you taught us. :-) You're one in a million. It's wonderful to hear from you; thank you for reaching out.

So sorry to hear of Doug's passing. He and I were close back when I worked in the consulting group at Lilly. He was a great friend and we had many deep discussions about many things. Very bright man.

We still live where we lived when you were in Ivy Hills - I'll be 79 in Jan.
Best wishes to the entire family but so sad it has to come this way.

Thank you for your kind words, Mr. Garrett. I remember some fun memories of Indian Princesses with my dad and me and you and your daughter! It's lovely to hear from you; thank you again for your sympathies.
