Howard “Clif” Wessel, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Saturday, March 25, 2017.  He was born on July 30, 1956 to the late John Clifton and Edith Rosemary (Small) Wessel in Indianapolis. 

Clif loved his kids and grandkids, fishing, and Harley Davidson.  He had a kind heart and was a big teddy bear. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Anna (Chase) Wessel; children, Everett Wessel (Cathy), Norman Wessel (Angie), Wanda Stockton (Robert), Lila Wessel, Tawnya Wessel and Bill Rybolt (Jennifer); siblings, Bonnie Wessel and Norman Wessel; grandchildren, Ava, Junior, Mckenzie, J.J. and Katrina; and many other children (16 total), grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends throughout country. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Fred G. Wessel, Ann Cain, Charlie Wessel and Louie Cain. 

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, March 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St.  Services will follow visitation at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Scott Scharfenber officiating.
