James Edward Clark, 31, of Indianapolis, died on Thursday, April 20, 2017.  He was born on April 28, 1985 to John Tarver and Vernetta Clark in Indianapolis. 

James loved to fish and was great with kids.  His greatest joy was in his children and he loved them dearly along with his nieces and nephews. 

He is survived by his children, Devon and Aquila Clark; mother, Vernetta Clark; father, John Tarver (Angela); siblings, Sarah Simpkins, Christopher Clark, Jordan, Jayden and Madison Tarver; nephews, Dayton Swain and Christopher Anderson; and nieces, Lexxus Poppell, Jamie Anderson and Andrea Anderson. 

Family and friends will gather on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 11:00 a.m.to 1:00 p.m.in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St.  A service celebrating his life will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Frank Sablan officiating.  Burial:  New Crown Cemetery, Indianapolis.
