James Ryan Long, age 28, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016.  He was born on May 2, 1988 in Indianapolis and raised by his father, James Rowe Long, Jr.  James was a good son, brother and father and always had a smile on his face.  He loved sports and enjoyed spending time with his family.  He is survived by his loving father, James Rowe Long, Jr.; daughter, Katelyn Marie O’Hara; step-mother, Jeanie Marie Grider; siblings, Julie Marie Long, Hannah Nicole Long, Halie Elaine Long and Robert Scott; great-grandmother, Dorothy Sue Yates; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  A service celebrating his life will take place on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., with Rev.
