Lawrence Cruse Howe, age 80, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in Indianapolis.  He was born on December 6, 1936 to the late Lawrence and Agnes Howe in Salt Lake City, UT.  He retire from active duty with the United States Army as a Sergeant Major after 28 years of service.  Survivors include his loving wife, Phyllis (West) Howe; daughters, Elsa Schneider, Lorraine Roebuck and Linda Howe; and siblings, Lionel, Lanny and Connie.  No services will be held.  Arrangements and care were provided by Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services.
