Lydia A. Landry, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017.  She was born on February 28, 1949 to the late Arthur John and Marion (Long) Landry in Chicago, Illinois.  Lydia served in both the United States Airforce (Sergeant) and the United States Army (Captain) before becoming an Immigration Officer with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service.  She earned both a Bachelors and Master’s Degree from Wichita State University.  Lydia belonged to the World Poker Amateur League and loved playing Texas Holdem.  Lydia also loved to dance and belonged to Time Steppers Tap; she was truly a “fun” person to be with and will be truly missed.  A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Life Journey Church, 2950 E. 55th Place, Indianapolis, IN 46220.  Memorial contributions can be made to Life Journey Church of which she was a long-time member.  Arrangements and care were entrusted to Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services.  To leave an online condolence, please visit www.LauckFuneralHome.com
