Michael L. Van Lieu, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017.  He was born on September 12, 1949 to the late Thomas E. and Rosemary (Jackson) Van Lieu in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Michael attended Harry E. Wood High School and was a past participant in Special Olympics.  He was a member of the Broad Ripple Sertoma Club and was a life-long Pacer, Colt and Butler fan.  Mike is survived by his brother, Thomas “Jerry” Van Lieu (Sandy); and nephew and nieces, Chuck “Van Lieu” Klutts (Heather), Katie Moran (Chris) and Rebecca Van Lieu.  Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, May 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will follow services in Marshall, Indiana at Poplar Grove Cemetery.  Memorial contributions have been suggested in Mike’s memory to Noble of Indiana or St. Vincent–New Hope.  Online condolences:  www.lauckfuneralhome.com
