Norma Helen Wilson, 91, of Indianapolis passed away on August 2, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 21, 1926 in Indianapolis to the late Raymond and Lucy Smith.

She was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School. Above all things Norma enjoyed her family, crafts, and refinishing furniture. She liked bringing new life into old things.

She is survived by her four daughters, Lucy Ann Hurst (Merritt), Linda Lou Lynch, Virginia Lee Wilson, and Debra Kay Wilson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Aside from her loving parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harry Wilson, her son Raymond H. Wilson, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8th, 2017 at Lauck & Veldhof Cremation & Funeral Services (1458 South Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46225) with a visitation starting after 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the staff at Great Lakes Hospice for the care they provided Norma during her journey.
