Ricky Daryl Elmore, 51, Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016.  He was born on April 29, 1965 in Glasgow, KY to the late John C. and Marie J. (Hurt) Elmore.  Ricky worked at Midwest Graphics the past seven years and Hurts Printing the majority of his life with his sister Kim. He loved music such as The Grateful Dead, Rush, The Who and many others. He also went to many concerts with his friends, played in garage bands, and loved playing his guitar.  He was an avid reader and Ayn Rand was one of his favorite authors. Ricky was known as a very spiritual man with a huge heart. Even on the most difficult days he had a smile on his face. Survivors include his daughter, Sabrina L. Labrosse (Theresa Greene and Ian Kuzma); sister, Kim “Sis” Yelton (Steve); niece and nephews, Kyle Yelton, Megan Yelton (Daniel Phelps), and Jacob Elmore; great nieces and nephew, Jayla Dukate, Kayleigh Yelton, Savana Yelton, Cash Dukate, and Briella Yelton; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Clifton Elmore and John C. Elmore Jr. Family and friends will gather Wednesday, September 21st from 4 to 8 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St. A funeral service will be held there Thursday, September 22 at 12 noon with visitation there from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at New Crown Cemetery.
