Stephen Amory Beeler, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 30, 2017.  He was born on December 17, 1949 to Amory V. and Josephine Penna Beeler in Indianapolis.  Stephen graduated from Howe High School and attended Marian University for two years.   After college, he worked for Walt Disney World in Florida before returning to Indiana to be closer to family.  Stephen was a member of the Projectionist Union Local 194 and worked as a movie projectionist from 1968 until his retirement working for various theaters in the Indianapolis area. 

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael McConnell (Karyn); mother, Josephine Penna Beeler; brother, Jeffrey B. Beeler; sister-in-law, Margie Beeler; nieces and nephews, Joseph K. Beeler, Jr. (Gaye), Jessica L. Beeler and Blair Beeler; and great-nephew, Anthony Beeler.  He was preceded in death by his father, Amory V. Beeler; and brother, Joseph Kevin Beeler. 

Family and friends will gather on Monday, April 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 520 Stevens St.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
