Barbara Lane

Barbara Marie Lane, age 73, of Indianapolis passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019. She was born on February 16, 1946 in Wayne Co. Kentucky to the late Delbert and Effie Bell.

Barbara enjoyed entertaining family and friends. During the summer she hosted family cookouts as well as hosting a annual Christmas dinner. She will be remembered for always serving chili and handing out lottery tickets every Christmas. Also, she enjoyed looking her best and was a frequent guest at the local salon. 

She is survived by her husband, David Lane; her six sons, Howard A. Lane, David Earl Lane, Jason Luke Edward Lane, Russell Wayne Lane, Billy Joe Morris and Jeremy Morris; her sister in law, Ruth Ann Lane; two grandchildren, Jamie Lane and Karlotta Lane; three great granchilden; Leon, Kimberly and Kyndall; along with a expected great grandchild; Mallory Rose Fischer.

Celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Harvest Time Assembly of God Church (2240 S. Post Road, Indianapolis, IN 46239)
