Bette L (Patterson) Patterson

Bette L. Patterson, 76, of Muncie passed away on December 21, 2018. She was born on January 19, 1942 in Indianapolis to the late Bluford and Mildred Patterson.

In addition to her undergraduate degree, she also earned three master’s degree’s (the first from IU and the second and third from Ball State). She worked as a librarian at Ball State until her retirement.

She loved playing euchre with family and friends and took it seriously. Reading was her passion.

She is survived by 11 siblings, Dee Bernauer, Patty Voils, Harold Robert Patterson, Mary Henschen (Carl), James Patterson (Jo Ann), Virginia Neuberger (Daniel), Helen Swanson, Mildred Patterson, Larry Patterson (Florence), Richard Patterson, and Dorothy Patterson.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Linda Patterson and Allen Bluford Patterson.

Friends may call the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 in the Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services (1458 South Meridian Street). Graveside services will be held at Concordia Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018.
