Beverly A. Thompson, age 76, of Indianapolis passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017. She was born on April 1, 1941 in Indianapolis to the late Benjamin and Fern Miner. She was the oldest of seven children.

As a devoted Christian, Beverly was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church.She enjoyed playing the piano and listening to country music (Garth Brooks and Elvis being her favorites). She took an active role in raising her grandchildren and made family her top priority.

She is survived by her daughter, Daphney Bagby (Rance) of Indianapolis; her sisters, Karen West, Lillian White, and Kim Tucher; her brothers, Ben, Byron and Beryle Miner; her four grandchildren, April Richardson, Kristen Hill, Shelby Bagby and Emma Bagby; her three great grandchildren, Eliana DeChristopher, Samuel Richardson and Oliver Schumacher. She was preceded in death by her 2 daughters, Jackie Keller and Jerre Anne Thompson.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, May 18, 2017 in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services (1458 South Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46225). Visitation will start after 11:00AM until the time of service. Entombment will be held in Washington Park East Cemetery.
