Chris L. Sebastian, 59, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in St. Francis Hospital.  He was born on February 6, 1958 in Beech Grove and was raised by his late grandparents, Sidney and Mildred Sebastian. 

Chris was a hard worker, devoted husband and loving father to his children and grandchildren.  He was a huge NASCAR fan; getting married to Debbie on Dale Earnhardt’s birthday! 

Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Debbie K. Sebastian; his daughters, Jennifer Thurman (George Schafer) and Christy Rutledge (Donnie); mother, Karen Mitchner (Bill); brothers, Billy Mack Mitchner, Jimmy Mitchner (Tracy) and Donny Mitchner; sister, Cindy Ledgerwood; and grandchildren, Ethan, Caden, Paige, Keegan and Kallie. 

Family and friends will gather on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a service at 7 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S.
