Daimon Rance Bagby, 76, of Indianapolis passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at his home. He was born in Booneville, IN to the late Walter and Norma Bagby.

Daimon enjoyed a long and successful career in life and health insurance sales. He represented various companies such as Prudential, Midland and Mass Mutual. He retired in 1998. Daimon was an avid sports fan, (Colts and IU football). He enjoyed a game of chance every so often and was known to be a good poker player.  His main joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great- grandchild.

He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Joyce Wood- Bagby; his two children, Rance Eric Bagby (Daphney) and Robin Joyce Bagby- Pannell (Kenneth); one sister, Tanya Jolinda Bagby-Boone; three grandchildren, Emma Jordan Bagby, Shelby Marie Bagby, and Claire Olivia Leffler; and one great-grandchild, Oliver Bagby.

Aside from his loving parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Romayne Layne Bagby.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2017 at Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services (1458 South Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46225) with a visitation being held after 4:00 p.m. until the service time.

In lieu of flowers the family would suggest donations to the Southside Animal Shelter (ssasi.org) or JJ Watts Hurricane Fundraiser (youcaring.com).
