David Timothy Jerome Beck, Jr.

David Timothy Jerome Beck, Jr., of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 11, 2018. He was born on June 22, 1972 in Beech Grove to David Beck, Sr. and Janice (Stookey) Beck.

David was a student of St. Jude and graduated from Roncalli High School in 1990. He was a former US Marine, stationed in California. David was a free spirt with a big heart who loved music and animals, most especially his dogs, Hunter, Molly, and Koko.  He had a smile that would light up any room and was always the life of the party. He was a very talented musician who played both guitar and drums, Pearl Jam and Allman Brothers being his favorite bands. His proudest achievement and greatest joy in life was his daughter, Daphne. 

Survivors include his parents, David Timothy, Sr. and Janice Ann Beck; daughter, Daphne Elyse Beck; sisters, Deana Beck Letko (Richard) and Danielle Beck Teschendorf (Charles); DeLisa Pike, mother of Daphne; fiance, Robin Cox; nieces, Olivia, Courtney, and Rachel; nephews, Andrew and Connor; aunts, uncles and cousins; and a large number of close friends.

A celebration of life will take place Saturday, August 18, 2018 at The Atrium, 3143 Thompson Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46227. Calling hours are from 3:00 to 8:00, with the eulogy and prayer at 5:00. This is a casual gathering rather than a formal funeral. Please wear a Colts shirt or T-shirt of your favorite band in honor of David. Tie-dye is highly encouraged.
