David A. Mason, 62, of Bargersville, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. He was born on December 15, 1954 in Johnson County.

He worked for Allison Transmission as a cutter/ grinder for over 33 years. David enjoyed being outdoors and was known to hunt and fish. An avid sports fan, David followed the Colts, IU Basketball, watching the Pacers, he also enjoyed watching NASCAR.

He is survived by his loving wife Ramona Mason; his mother, Louise Collier; his four sons, Jerry Schaeffer (Dawn), Craig Mason (Michelle), Brian Schaeffer, and Shawn Mason (Jessica); his four daughters, Stacy Martinez (Roger), Suzanne Kishindo (Tony), Amber Hall (Damon) and Rachel Asher (Matthew); one brother, Robert Mason; one sister, Patricia Wesley. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A celebration of David’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 13th, 2017 at Waverly Baptist Church. 7225 Old State Road 37, Martinsville, IN 46151. Arrangements and care provided by Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, Indianapolis.
