Donna M. Deuser, 68, of Indianapolis passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on June 24, 1950 in Indianapolis to Clarence and Dorothy Miles.
She and her husband Phillip (of 49 years) were long time members of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, where she served as financial secretary along with numerous other volunteer roles. She was an avid bowler for over 44 years, as well as a country music and Elvis enthusiast. Among her many passions, her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Phillip W. Deuser of Indianapolis; her mother, Dorothy Miles of Indianapolis, her son, Craig Deuser of Zionsville; her daughter, Nicole Shoemaker (Gary) of Indianapolis; her older brother, Larry Miles (Linda) of Avon; and her granddaughter, Kelsey Deuser. She is also survived by numerous extended family and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Miles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church (2525 E. 11th Street, Indianapolis, IN). Funeral service will start at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter’s on Thursday with Pastor Seth Mierow conducting. Burial: Concordia Cemetery, Indianapolis.
