Donna Louise Weber, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. She was born on August 11, 1931 in Indianapolis to the late Albert Julius Jr. and Florence B. (Nugent) Janert.
Mrs. Weber was a devoted wife, mother and elder caregiver. She coordinated care for the needy with NESCO, worked for the Election Board and proctored state medical exams. For many years, Donna was the treasurer and later the vice president of the St. Philip Neri Women’s Altar Society; she also was a wedding caterer. More recently, she was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Donald H. Weber; her parents; and step-sister, Dorothy Janert.
Survivors include her children, Vicki Steeb (Greg), Rick Weber, Kris Weber (Stacie), Kim Behnke (Jeff), and Brian Weber (SheLa); grandson, Robert Weber; honorary daughter, Mary O’Connor; honorary granddaughter, Katie Tobin; and honorary great-grandchildren, Hunter and Patrick Tobin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 starting at 10 a.m. in Little Flower Catholic Church, 4720 E. 13th St., with mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are encouraged to the Alzheimer’s Association.
