Ellen "Annette" (Vandal) Vandiver

Ellen “Annette” Vandiver, 56, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018. She was born August 7, 1962 to the late Allen Eugene and Betty (Johnston) Vandal.

Annette attended Arsenal Tech High School and then married John Samuel Vandiver September 17, 1980. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother who loved cooking, hosting family events, and spending time with her family, but most importantly spoiling her grandchildren. Annette was famously known for keeping an immaculate home.

Annette is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, John Vandiver; her daughter Crissy Vandiver; sons, Daniel (Ashley) Vandiver and John Vandiver, Jr.; grandchildren, Deven, Daniel, Ashdyen, Joseph, and Heartlynn Vandiver. She is also survived by siblings, Gary Vandal, Vanessa Stone and Kimberly Dodds. She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Vandiver; siblings, Debra Smith, Linda Fugate and Roger Vandal.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral and Cremation Services, 1458 S Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46225.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial: Washington Park East Cemetery.
