Gurry Milburn, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. She was born on September 7, 1926 in Bildudalur, Iceland, to the late Jon Johannsson and Jonina Johannssdottir. 

She is survived by her loving children, Deborah K. Davis (Lyle) and Michael T. Milburn (Teresa); and four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Gurry was preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Robert Milburn. 

She was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.  She served many years bringing food and kindness to those at church in need.  Gurry enjoyed her card club and entertaining many friends.  Throughout her life she was extremely compassionate and selfless for many other's in the community.  Gurry was always able to leave a special memory with whomever she met.  She will be deeply missed by many. 

Gurry and her family are charter members of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Indianapolis where services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 12 Noon with one hour calling prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
