James William Law

James William Law, 56, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 31, 2018.  He was born on April 2, 1961 in Franklin, Indiana to the late Calvin and Sarah (Honeay) Law. 

Jim was a graduate of Manuel High School and was a custom home builder.  He loved spending time with his family and taking his grandchildren to the Zoo and Children’s Museum.  Jim also enjoyed taking the family to Disney and spending time on the beach.  He was a race fan who followed NASCAR and enjoyed the Indy 500. 

Survivors include his wife, Diana J. (Elsea) Law; children, Rachel Marie Law, Angie Bonnell (Shay), Tracy Jourdan (Jeff) and Christian Schoettle; siblings, Mary Martin, Michael Law (Maxine), Martha Alford (Dale), Patti Roska, Jan Kirby (Gary), Peggy Warren (Raymond) and Russell Law; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Cece and Annelyn Jourdan; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Ellen Kern. 

Family and friends will gather on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., with a service at 7 p.m. with Fr. James Wilmoth officiating.  Cremation will follow services as per his wishes.
