James Carl Nipp, 78, of Indianapolis passed away on November 21, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on June 17, 1939 in Indianapolis to the late Carrol and Louise Nipp.

James enjoyed all kinds of music, he followed baseball (especially the Red’s and Cubs), and horses. He will be remembered as a very kind and charming person who always had a compliment for those he met. Among his many interests his most enjoyable was spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannene Nipp; his daughter, Julia Redell (Richard), his two sons, Kyle and Andrew Nipp; his 4 grandchildren, Tegan Redell, Rachael Redell, Joy Redell and Dylan Nipp; his three great grandchildren, Jada, Maya and Vincent Sampson. He is also survived by numerous extended family and close friends.

There will be no funeral services held at this time. Arrangements and care provided by Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, Indianapolis.
