Jane Elizabeth Baker, 68, of Indianapolis passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019. She was born in Tiffin, Ohio to the late H Ray and Aleta Zimmerman.
After graduating high school Jane attended Heidelberg University in Tiffin. She worked as a charge nurse at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas during her nursing career. Jane will be remembered for her gift of writing beautiful poetry that touched many readers. She was a person who put the needs of others before her own. She will be missed those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband David A. Baker; her son, Kevin Ray Baker; her daughter, Annett Marie Bradfield; his seven grandchildren, Angel Baby Baker, Jamie Ray Baker, Alex David Bradfield, Travis Lee Bradfield, Tyler Anthony Bradfield and Samantha Faith Bradfield. She is also survived by many great grandchildren along with numerous extended family and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services (1458 South Meridian Street), with a funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
