John M. McCoy, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017.  He was born October 7, 1953 to the late John W. and Mary Alice (Loy) McCoy.  John was a member of St. Simon the Apostle Church and was active for many years in Boy Scouts.  He loved nature, birds and camping with his family and the scouts.  He is survived by his loving wife of 42 ½ years, Sally McCoy; children, John, Steven, Joseph (Angie) and Kimberly Baker (Charles); five sisters; and grandchildren, Grace, Gabby, Emma, Holly, Hope and Nova Lynn.  Family and friends will gather on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 2 to 6 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S.
