Marietta Hendricks, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. She was born on February 2, 1934 in Indianapolis to the late Orlando and Very (Peggs) Catt.

She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1952. Marietta was married to Roy Hendricks who is now deceased.  She worked for L.S Ayres Department Store for many years and was an auxiliary member of VFW Ernie Pile Chapter.

She is survived by her loving sister, Ruth Dezelan- Shalkowski (Ray) of Carmel; close family members, Morris Grubbs, Bev and David Stevens. Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her loving companion, John Grubbs. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation.
