Words cannot fully express the sorrow I feel upon learning of the passing of Mary Grace (Lauck) Lawler. However, I think we can all take solace in the fact that she lived a very long and very full life. Some of my favorite times were those at the Lawler abode (often watching Notre Dame football). Grace, and her equally wonderful late husband, Jack, always welcomed the younger generation and always made us feel extremely comfortable (and always made sure our glasses were filled). The warmth and hospitality never ceased. In later years, I always looked forward to July 4th at Grace's condo and the fireworks extravaganza.
