Mary "Moira" M. (Burns) Enwright

Mary M. “Moira” Enwright, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019.  She was born on February 26, 1940 in Glasgow, Scotland to the late Andrew and Agnes (Ross) Burns. 

She was a fantastic knitter and had her work featured in McCalls Magazine.  Moira loved her Catholic Faith and was a devoted member of St. Pius X parish in Indianapolis.  She was a very generous and loving person and would welcome you with a big smile.  Moira was above all a devoted wife and a great mum to her children.  She loved bingo, bowling, games shows and cards. 

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, John T. Enwright; children, Andrea P. Doria (Joe), Monique E. Myers (Dan), Joanne Pauta, John Enwright (Sherri) and Moira Shaw (Rod); grandchildren, Robert Jones, Sean Myers, Elizabeth Myers, Colette Pauta, Blake Shaw, Dean Shaw, Kenzi Enwright and Ian Enwright. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Nancy O’Neil (Tommy) and Andy Burns (Mary). 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 12 noon in St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Dr., Indianapolis with visitation prior to Mass from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, also in the church.
