May E. Cramer, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at her home.  She was born on March 21, 1949 in Indianapolis to the late Oscar E. and Winona Grace (Warner) Cramer. 

May was a very caring and giving person; someone you could always count on when you needed help.  She was an avid puzzle enthusiast and loved animals, especially dogs.  May enjoyed volunteering at the food pantry where she will be dearly missed.  She truly lived her life for her daughters and grandbabies. 

Survivors include her three daughters, Cynthia Schmoll, Teresa Callaway and Donica Constant; siblings, Oscar Cramer, Eugene Cramer, Rebecca Vernon, Patty Cramer, Dorothy Cramer, and Peggy Cramer; her beloved grandchildren, Donald Cooper, Joshua Constant, Brandon Oxley, Tia Callaway and Michaela Bridges; great-grandchild, Chase Cooper; and her beloved dogs, Betsy and Suzi.   

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 3 to 7 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis.  A service to celebrate her life will follow at 7 p.m.  Cremation will follow services and her ashes will be taken to the foothills of Arizona as per her wishes.
