Michael Joseph King II, 21, of Schererville, IN passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at his home. He was born on November 5, 1997 in Indianapolis, IN.
He graduated from Lake Central High School in 2016 where he played football. Michael was employed at the Shipwreck Bar and Grill in Griffith. When not at work, Michael enjoyed listening to music, following professional football (big fan of the Colts). He was more of a homebody who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his siblings.
He is survived by his loving parents, Michael P. King and Miranda J. Jackson-King; his twin sister Madison; his two brothers Max and Marshall; his maternal grandmother, Jeanne Ott; his paternal grandparents, Nancy Heinlein (Rex Gourley) of Turtletown, TN and Michael J. King (Cathy) of Danville, IN; his four aunts, M’Lissa Jackson, Michele Jackson, Jamie Trent, and Blythe King; his uncle, Jerry Jackson. He is also survived by numerous extended family and close friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Terry Jackson.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2019 in the Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services (1458 South Meridian Street), with a funeral service to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 29, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Concordia Cemetery.
