Natalie “Sunny” Michelle Botos, age 32, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. She was born on October 25, 1986 in Beech Grove to Sandra K. (Dudgeon) and Steven M. Botos.
Natalie graduated from Franklin Central High School in 2005, with CNA training and a Cosmetology License through Central Nine. She attended Ivy Tech Community College and trained at the Indiana School of Phlebotomy. While in high school, Natalie held a job at Great Times which she really enjoyed. For years Natalie worked as an Independent Home Health Aide and through Caregivers, Inc. She was also employed by AFC Doctor’s Express Urgent Care, Grifols Plasma and Valle Vista Health Systems. She attended Indian Creek Community Church for years and most recently, Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Natalie was a very caring, loyal and giving friend and family member. She was known for her outgoing personality; she never met a stranger. The role she filled her entire life was that of a caregiver. Taking care of others was what she did best. She loved to help anyone she could, especially children, the elderly, and the disabled. She took special joy in spending time with friends’ and families’ children. Natalie missed her calling as an Uber driver. When anybody needed a ride, they knew who to call. Natalie loved flashy jewelry and flashy cars and her loud music, especially Gavin DeGraw. The sunshine of her life was her rat-dog Mila, and her precious little niece Juliet.
Survivors include her loving parents, Sandy and Steve Botos; sister, Angeline Jensen (Erik); niece, Juliet Jensen. Also, surviving maternal grandmother, Janet Dudgeon; uncles, Anthony (Kim) Botos, Randy (Val) Botos, David (Cindy) Dudgeon, Dan (Patty) Dudgeon; close cousin and BFF, Erin Reid; cousins, Jenny ( Don) Swartz, Allison (Justin) Hunt, Andrea Dudgeon, Jon Dudgeon, Joseph Botos, Paula (Allan) Johnson, Kevin Botos, Steven Botos, Stephanie Botos, Denise Reid, Pam (Steve) Conrad, Laura (Will) Johnston, and Chris Atchason. She is also survived by special Great Aunts and Uncles, Tom and Judy Bryant, Bud Honeycutt, Maggie Botos, Loretta Dees and Dureen Palmore. Also surviving, recently found (due to Natalie’s diligence) half-brother Patrick (Jean) Cannon and his children, Nick and Emma, along with many more precious family and friends. Sunny was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, John “Jack” and Mildred Botos, and Marion “Bud” Dudgeon, Uncle John “Jackie” Botos, Aunt Susan Dudgeon, and close cousin Anthony Reid.
Family and friends will gather on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 2 to 7 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian Street, Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home with cousin, Gale Stutz officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Natalie will be laid to rest with her cherished Teddy Beddy and her blanket “Paint”.
