Paul J. Lauck, Sr.

Paul J. Lauck, Sr., 85, of Martinsville passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving and devoted family.  He was born on June 11, 1933 in Indianapolis to the late Peter John and Theodosia Marie (Hulsman) Lauck. 

Paul attended Purdue University and was a Development Engineer by trade retiring from United Technologies after 39 years of service. He and his family moved from Indianapolis to Martinsville in 1971. He enjoyed playing cards and writing letters; he loved his kids and grandkids and prayed for them daily.  He was a Rock! 

Survivors include his children, Mary Suzanne Parsons, Paul J. Lauck Jr. (Mary), Kathleen Ritter (Gary), Ann Murrey (Brian), Michael J. Lauck, James L. Lauck, Margaret “Peggy” Lauck, Louis C. Lauck (Glenda) and Rose-Marie Mahoney (Tim); and 28 grandchildren and 61 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 39 years, Margaret Ann (Tames) Lauck; and brother, William Frank Lauck. 

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis.  A Mass of Christian Burial in the Extraordinary Form will be celebrated on Thursday, December 27 at 1:30 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1530 Union St., Indianapolis with burial following in Holy Cross Cemetery.
