Paul P. Speth, 92, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at the North Woods Village Nursing Home, Kokomo, IN.   Paul was born November 24, 1919 to Edward and Josephine Ruppert Speth in Indianapolis.  He had five sisters and five brothers, all deceased. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1937 and married Delores (Dolly) Dietz in 1939.  Dolly pass away in 2003.  He worked at  Wonder Bread Bakery before entering the Army during WWII.  A member of the 7th Division, he was seriously wounded on Okinawa May 31, 1945.  Awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star, he spent four years in military hospitals and was released in 1949.  He worked at the Indianapolis Post Office, Illinois Street Station until retiring.  An avid athlete and captain of the Sacred Heart basketball team, he and Dolly enjoyed tennis, bowling, and golf.  They were married 64 years and had one daughter, Joan Speth Atkinson,( Randy) Paragon and one son, Peter,(Annie) Peru, and six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. A lifelong Southsider, Paul was an active member of Sacred Heart and St. Barnabas parishes.  He was also a lifetime member of the Southside Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society.  Viewing will be at the Lauck Funeral Home, 1458 S.
