Petra B. (Vivalda) Tabor

Petra B. Tabor, age 87, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in Rosegate Village surrounded by family.  She was born on December 2, 1931 in Almonte, Spain to the late Pedro Vivalda and Maria Concepcion Cepeda Diaz. 

Petra was a loving wife, mother and nana who always put her family first.  She was an auxiliary member of both the VFW Post at Ft. Benjamin Harrison and the American Legion Post 495.

Survivors include her loving children, Charlottte Kerschner (Michael), Maria Graham (Paul), Joel Gallagher (Brian), Peter Tabor (Brenda) and Ginger Tabor; sister, Maria Vivalda; niece, Mari Conchi; grandchildren, Adam Badanek (Gina), Lindsey Badanek, Garrett Kerschner, Megan Rusie (Kyle), Maggie Gallagher, Kellie Gallagher, Kyle Graham, Sam Graham, McKinnah Tabor, Brendan Tabor, Madison Mattingly and Zach Litteral; and eleven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Tabor in 2002.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Church at 1 p.m. with Rev. Larry Janezic, O.F.M. officiating.  Burial:  Memorial Park Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions have been suggested to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 950 E. Prospect St., Indianapolis, IN 46203.
