Phyllis Ann West- Howe, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at her home surrounded by loving family. She was born on May 4, 1939, to the late Steven West Jr. and Eva Denny Good.
Phyllis was a lifelong caregiver, so it stood to reason she chose nursing as a career. She enjoyed all things shopping from going to the Fashion Mall, to exploring a local garage sale, to watching QVC. She will be remembered for being a foodie and her love of restaurants (which ranged from ordinary good food like The Original Pancake House all the way to fine dining like Dodd’s House). She loved Yorkies and was known to always have one at her side.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Candy Seamon (Bob) of Greenwood; her four grandchildren, Stephanie Breslan (Louis) of Fishers, Dustin VanDyke (Falecia Mails) of Indianapolis, Kylee Surface of Greenwood, and Mia Surface of Greenwood; her three great grandchildren; Aidan and Anna Breslan and Lincoln VanDyke; her Yorkie, Emma. She is also survived by numerous extended family and close friends.
There are no services scheduled at the current time.
