Richard Emerson Lane, 62, passed away on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017. He was born on October 16, 1954 in Columbus, Indiana to the late Robert and Margaret Lane.

Richard worked as a utility line locator for U.S.L.M. He enjoyed fishing and wood crafting in his spare time. In his retirement, Richard kept active working part time for William Brothers Pharmaceuticals.

He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Nora Lane; his two step children, Kevin Botos and Paula Johnson (Allan Johnson); his five sisters, Mary Gentry, Donna Johnson, Pat Hundley, Dianna Smith and Renee Wubben. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Zachary Botos, Kamryn Botos, Emma Johnson, Kelsey Johnson, and Colin Johnson. Aside from his parents Richard was preceded in death by his daughter, Michell Powers.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 1:00PM in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral and Cremation Service (1458 S. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46225) with calling held from 11AM until the time of service. Burial to follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
