Eternal God and Father,
we praise you that you have made people
to share life together
and to reflect your glory in the world.
We thank you now for Bob
for all that we saw of your goodness and love in his life
and for all that he means to each one of us.
As we too journey towards death
may we do so in the company of Jesus,
who came to share our life
that we might share the life of eternity.
To him be glory with you and the Holy Spirit
for ever and ever.
Amen.

Our sympathy and love to Mary, John and Kathleen and extended family on behalf of St. Mark's Parish.

Dear Mary and John,
I am saddened to learn of Bob's passing. I don't think Lisa and I could could grown up in a better neighborhood with better neighbors than we had in the Maloneys, the Sturms, and the Pearsons.
My favorite memory was when Lisa was probably about 4 years old. She had been in the backyard playing and the yard was nothing but mud. The mud had sucked her and her boots up to her knees, and held her fast. She couldn't move. Bob saw her out there, trudged through the mud, freed her, and carried her to the back door. I'm not sure the boots were ever found and may still be back there, buried underground! I believe Dad was probably on the road and Mother was alone. Bob was the hero. I've often wondered how his own shoes fared during this rescue mission? He may have gone out in the icy muck in his bare feet.
♥Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your servant Robert. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your own redeeming. Receive him into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. Amen.

Love to all the family. Bob will be greatly missed by many family members and friends. He was a loving/kind gentleman to all who met him. God gave Bob a long life on this earth. Sorry I cannot make the funeral.

While we didn't spend a lot of time with Bob, when we did - he simply lit up the room! He had a funny and sweet personality and we always enjoyed being around him. I took kindly to his sweet compliments of the baked goods I would leave at mom and John's and I'm glad he always ate too many of whatever I would make! Prayers for Mary, mom & John during this difficult time. We love all of you and are here if you need anything!
