Roderick Bertram Case, 65, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017.  He was born on November 29, 1951 to Robert B. Case and Dora E. (Horsley) Case.  Rod served honorably in the United States Navy and loved to fish and play the guitar, piano and organ.  He was a talented artist and enjoyed both drawing and painting.  Survivors include his loving mother, Dora Thurston; sons, Rod, Thomas, Joe and Shaum Case; siblings, Bud Parham, Robert Case and Debra Gibson (Bobby); and several grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert B. Case.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 1 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S.
