Roy Alphon Hensley

Roy Alphon Hensley, 81, of Greenwood, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018.  He was born on October 26, 1936 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to the late Roy A. and Florence Marie (Matz) Hensley. 

Roy retired from TWA after 30+ years of employment; he also enjoyed antiques and was an appraiser and antique dealer.  He loved to travel and his TWA benefits were priceless. 

Survivors include his two nieces, Pam (John) Broschart and Kim (Kevin) Pope; beloved dog, Charlene and cat, Alex; and many great-nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rena Ann Mitchell; and brother-in-law, Richard O. Mitchell. 

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis.
