Sabino Tapia-Aguilar, 33, of Indianapolis, passed away suddenly in an accident on Memorial Day, May 28, 2018. He was born on September 19, 1984 in Izucar de Matamoros to Teofilo Tapia-Briones and Petra Aguilar-Acevedo.
Sabino was a supervisor with Carter Lumber Company for 12+ years and a loving husband and father to his two daughters.
Survivors include his loving wife of 12 years, Elizabeth “Ashley” Stokes; daughters, Eliana Tapia-Stokes and Sophia Tapia-Stokes; parents, Teofilo Tapia-Briones and Petra Aguilar-Acevedo; and nine brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 3 to 7 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Services will follow at 7 p.m. with Fr. Chris Wadelton officiating.
Sabino will be transported back to Mexico where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated and he will be buried in Cementerio Santa Maria Xuchapa in Izucar de Matamoros, Puebla, Mexico.
