Sherry Lee (Duke) Spencer

Sherry Lee Spencer, 64, of Indianapolis passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. She was born on January 28, 1955 to Ruby Jewel Duke and Eugene Edward Duke in Indianapolis.  Sherry worked at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove for 35 years as a Certified and Registered Central Service Technician. Sherry enjoyed singing karaoke with friends at Hagan’s, decorating with flowers, dancing, and singing.  She was a fun-loving person who loved to have a good time. 

Sherry loved her family!  She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Daryl Spencer, husband of 35+ years. She was also preceded in death by her parents Ruby and Eugene Duke.

Survivors include daughter Jennifer Smith (Jason), son Todd Spencer (Michele), and grandchildren Stacia, Celina, Alissa, Riley, Devon and Nolan.  Survivors also include brothers Anthony Duke (Rita) and Garry Duke (Janet). 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 in the Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services ( 1458 S. Meridian Street).Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment to be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
