Tammy (Lane) Rector

Tammy Rector, 54, of Indianapolis passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at her home. She was born on July 20, 1964 in Indianapolis to Bobby and Avonelle Lane.

Tammy will be remembered as a soft spoken, loving and devoted woman. Not only was she a devoted mother to her children, but she extended that caring and concern toward many youth in her neighborhood. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family of whom she loved dearly. Her three grandchildren held a very special place in Tammy’s heart.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Rector; her mother, Avonelle Lane of Indianapolis; her son, Teddy Cales (Jeremy) of Westfield; her two daughters, Natasha Conrad ( Steven) and Amber Bilbrey (Curtis), both of Indianapolis; her three beloved grandchildren; Ryan, Uriah and Jace; her three siblings, Russell Lane, Vickie Arthur, and Beverly Bailey. She is also survived by numerous extended family and close friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services (1458 South Meridian Street) with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
