Taylor Renee Gordon Spurlock, 22, of Shelbyville, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.  She was born on February 2, 1995 to John B. Gordon and Elizabeth (Oglesby) Spivey in Shelbyville, Indiana.  

Taylor graduated from Shelbyville High School in 2013 where she received a Presidential Award.  She loved music and making people laugh; she attended Westside Wesleyan Church in Shelbyville. 

Survivors include her spouse, Ciera Spurlock; parents, Elizabeth Spivey and John B. Gordon (Amanda); siblings, Brittany Wilkerson, Tierra Gordon, Jessica Gordon, Lillian Gordon and Johnathon; and grandparents, Gary Oglesby and Johnnie and Susie Conlin.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Nichole Ann Gordon; aunt, Sara Mayo; and grandparents, Marcella Oglesby and Gerald and Delores Gordon. 

Family and friends will gather on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 12 to 2 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., where a service celebrating her life will follow at 2 p.m.   Cremation will follow services.
