Terrence J. “Terry” McCarthy, 66, of Springfield, IL passed away suddenly on November 6, 2017.  He was the son of the late Dennis T. Jr. and Ellen J. McCarthy, and a member of the extended McCarthy and Pflum families of Indianapolis.  Terry resided for the last 40 years at Brother James Court, a facility for developmentally disabled men.  He was the beloved brother of Rosanne (Bernard) Sawyer, Kay (Lou) Scudere, and Kevin (Kathy) McCarthy. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 PM on Saturday, November 11th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1530 Union St., Indianapolis with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service.  Interment following at Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Brother James Court, 2508 St. James Rd., Springfield, IL 62707.  Arrangements:  Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services.
