Thomas Benjamin Obituary

Thomas Glenn Benjamin, age 84, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 in the Franciscan Hospice House. He was born on November 14, 1933 to the late Glenn A. and Elsie Ethel (Bailey) Benjamin.

Tom was a member of University Heights United Methodist Church in Indianapolis and a former member of the Snyder Memorial Baptist Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Benjamin; daughters, Rebecca (John) Benjamin Shreve and Pamela Benjamin Dockery; step-son, Mark (Helen) Holder; sister-in-law, Barbara Clark; grandchildren, Andrew (Kerri) Shreve, Nicole Shreve, Sherrie Rodriguez, Shelbie (Kirk) Bush, James (Leigh-Ann) Kellams, Michael Allen, Colin Holder, Conner Greenlee, Chase Greenlee, Joe Holder and Matthew Holder; ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Jay D. Clark, Mary Rose "Rosie" Mitchell and Carolyn "Cutie" Burkee.

A private graveside service will be held in North Vernon, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to Franciscan Hospice House, 5255 E. Stop 11 Rd., Ste. 245, Indianapolis, IN 46237.
