Thomas Guy Dabney, III, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017.  He was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1941 to the late Thomas Guy II and Charlotte Marie (Cavolt) Dabney in Danville, Illinois.  Tom was proud to have served in the United States Navy after graduating from Ben Davis High School.  He was a doting husband and loving father and grandfather who enjoyed cooking and NASCAR.  Tom was also a devoted fan of the Oakland Raiders and Chicago Cubs.  Survivors include his loving wife, Karen A. (Taylor) Dabney; children, Thomas Guy Dabney, IV, Tammatha Lynn Dabney Ellis (Lance) and Brandon Scott Dabney; brothers, Simon Lee Dabney (Linda) and John Henry Dabney; and grandchildren, Brennan Lee Ellis, Nicholas Thomas Ellis, Jaden Guy Dabney and Austin Thomas Dabney.  Private services will be held in St. Roch Catholic Church.  Arrangements and care were provided by Lauck and Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services.  To leave an online condolence, please visit www.lauckfuneralhome.com
