Timothy Joseph Magness, Sr., 52, of Indianapolis passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017.  He was born on May 12, 1965 to Dale Thomas and Lottie Marie (Geabhart) Magness in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Tim was known as “Big Tim” and loved spending time with his family and in being in the outdoors.  He was an airframe mechanic by trade and was also an EMT for Aid Ambulance Service prior to his disability. 

Survivors include his loving mother, Lottie Magness; sons, Timothy J. Magness, Jr., Christopher J. Magness and Phillip J. Magness; and siblings, Theresa McDannell (husband, Chuck), Christine Magness, D. Thomas Magness, Jr. (wife, Diane), Brian Earl Magness (Sonja Mauk) and Brent Magness (wife, Missi).  He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Thomas Magness. 

Family and friend will gather on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 2 to 5 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis.  Cremation will follow services.
