Virginia Ann (Weber) Petro

Virginia Ann Weber Petro, 78, New Palestine, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2017 at Community Hospital East.  Ann was born October 15, 1939, to the late Paul S. Weber, Sr. and Carrie Adele Edwards.  She was a graduate of St. John Academy and was employed at the Pentathlon Institute for 18 years.  On April 26, 1958 Ann married Charles Thomas Petro who preceded her in death on May 23, 1968.

Ann’s passions were family, preparing festive meals and gardening.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Ann is survived by her son, Charles “Nick” Petro (Deborah), granddaughters, Chelsea Bounin (Robb) and Sophia Petro, and great-granddaughters, Charli and Reese Bounin; sister, Gwendolyn Weber and brothers, Donald and Jim and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to Ann’s parents and husband, Ann was preceded in death by siblings, Paul Jr., Arvine, Birney and Robert Weber and sisters, Barbara Hoffmann and H. Roselyn Weber.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017 in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services.  Services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. with an additional hour of visitation prior to services.  Burial will follow in New Crown Cemetery.
